On vacation recently at Atlantic Beach and our son proposed to his girlfriend during the vacation. We celebrated the engagement at El Zarape Mexican restaurant. The staff was so unbelievably helpful. Their professional friendly attitude made the impromptu experience that much better. The food drinks and the atmosphere were perfect. The staff provided us a room on the upper level to ourselves and we enjoyed an evening of laughter, celebration and great Mexican cuisine! Thank you so much to the staff at El Zarape Mexican restaurant.

Just left here; I have been away a few years. Food was excellent; staff was nice and prompt. Restaurant is well kept and super clean. We will return soon

We ended up coming back a couple days later because it was so good. Yes there are seating restrictions for large parties due to COVID-19. For our party of 7 it was fine we were seated in a booth and a table not too far away. The food is so delicious. It reminds me of the Mexican food I could get everywhere back in California that I have had a hard time finding here in NC.

Wow, overall a GREAT experience. We were promptly greeted, sat and served. Everything was good Mexican food. Service was attentive. The Hawaiian fajitas were RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I'll be back for that and the monster 1800 margaritas!!!!

My boyfriend and I adore dining at Nachos; the food consistently impresses us, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. It feels like a cozy, family-oriented spot. When it comes to Mexican cuisine in Carteret County, Nachos is the only place we dine, and we couldn't be happier with it.

Delicious, fast, and friendly! The view is really nice as is the coastal breeze. The margaritas are very tasty and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the beef nachos with queso.

I absolutely love it. My waiter recommended a yumtastic meal. Crazy taco I believe it was. The large margarita super fantastic. I will definitely be going back.
